The Champions Program is our flagship FALL recreational soccer league for players of ALL skill levels — boys (1st-8th Grade) and girls (1st-6th). Players are expected to attend a training session and play 1-2 league games each week, for the duration of a 10-game season starting September 2026 (teams start practicing in August 2026). ​

 

PRACTICE & GAMES - League games are played mostly on Saturday afternoons, with 1-2 games on a Friday evening, at Koch Park in Florissant MO. Practice days/times depend on each individual coach but are usually mid-week for 1 hour on either Monday, Tuesday or Thursday evenings.

LEAD COACH KIDS PLAY FREE - you can also read about coach expectations and apply HERE. Please email andrew@empowernoco.org if you are currently registered as a coach. Lead Coaches receive a 100% discount and Assistant Coaches receive a 50% discount on one registration. NOTE: we only have one lead coach and a maximum of two assistant coaches per team. Coach selection is based on the decision of the soccer director and is NOT automatic.

WANT TO REGISTER A TEAM? We are a club so every player registers INDIVIDUALLY 'to be able to play soccer with the club'. We do this so we can manage the skill levels of each team and ensure parity amongst the teams. That said, we do try to ensure teams are kept together if valid requests are made (there is a section in the individual registration that asks about preferred team coach/members - we usually always honor that request).

 

We do require all players to wear uniforms provided by Empower Soccer. We do this because we want to remind all players and coaches that we are part of the SAME CLUB and are not just opposing teams. For more questions regarding teams, please contact andrew@empowernoco.org.  

 

NOTE: the Champions program is a recreational soccer league - 'select/club' players are not allowed to play in this league if they are currently playing for another club.
