At the core of Empower Soccer is coaching. All coaches (except the Premier Program) are volunteers. Coaches have a massive impact on players, even beyond the soccer field. ​We appreciate your interest in serving NoCo youth. 

 

All coaches are required to have background checks (unless they are under 18yrs) and go through mandatory pre-season training - which includes one in-person session. Empower Soccer provides training and practice curriculum.

In addition, if you are willing to be a LEAD coach in our Champions Program (fall program), we allow one child per coach to play for 100% free. Assistant coaches receive a 50% discount on one registration.

 

NOTE: we only have one lead coach and a maximum of two assistant coaches per team. Coach selection is based on the decision of the soccer director and is NOT automatic.

What we expect of volunteer coaches: 

• Behavior that is in line with club ethic and philosophy 

• Background check

• Pre-season training session

• Regular communication with player parents 

• Lead a once a week practice

• Coach each game

• Be on time for all activities (i.e. 10-15 mins BEFORE sessions/games start)
