The Premier Program is invitation only - tryouts are required (see Schedule for info on tryouts).

 

The Premier Program introduces your player to higher level competitive soccer (often known as 'select'). Focus is on intense development of technical skills, team play and reading game situations. The Premier Program requires HIGH commitment from both players and parents including practices, weekend games and attendance at selected tournaments. Premier teams play in select Fall & Spring leagues as well as a winter futsal league.

The Premier Program is an invitation only program; there are tryouts in June/July and Nov/Dec each year which provide an opportunity for your child to be observed by coaches to determine if they have the skill/mindset to play at a higher level. This is not a personal judgement of your child (we have to make some tough calls - our apologies in advance). If a player joins the Premier Program and does not commit to practice and attendance, we also reserve the right to not renew their invitation each year.

Please note Premier Program players will not play in our fall recreational league (Champions Program) - they will only play in a SLYSA league.​​
